David is a landscape photographer based in Newfoundland & Labrador. He has over 20 years experience in the photography field particular to the post processing of images. David had originally trained as a CGI/VFX artist but after spending time learning the ins and outs of a 35mm film SLR for a job in the film industry, a different passion was born.

As Digital Cameras were hitting the mainstream he jumped feet first, marrying visual effects with the love of landscape photography. He never stops learning as the camera & printing technology never cease innovating. He tries his best to be on the cutting edge of digital imagery processing. Treating images from the camera much like a painter injects a scene with mood and emotions through techniques with todays software.  David is setting out to be a highly sought after digital imaging specialists. Completing work for other photographers, artists and institutions. Producing world class fine art gallery enlargements of every size for clients and his own work.

Being a photographer in a mainly digital world was how it started for David. Over the course of his career printing has become the other side of the coin for him. So much so, that David is a full time printer working in the wide format printing industry, hands on everyday with the latest inkjet printers.

He takes much pride in being able to take an image from a seed of thought, to planning a concept, the act of capturing a photo, processing and developing,  to printing and finishing. It gives a higher sense of craftsmanship to offer a piece that he had a hand in every step of the process.

When he isn’t out in the field capturing images or creating art, he can be found at home spending time with his wife, two children and his dog.
